Bill Moses, Director, West Region, Evans Caddie Scholarship Program

Bill Moses

Bill has been on staff with the Western Golf Association / Evans Scholars Foundation for 9 years. In 2012, he relocated from the WGA's headquarters outside of Chicago to the WSGA/PNGA offices in Federal Way, Washington. Bill manages and oversees all facets of the administration of the Evans Scholarship Program in Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, and other areas in the West. He works very closely with the golf association staff, Boards, reps, and countless supporters to ensure the scholarship program continues to thrive.

Bill was introduced to golf as a caddie at Olympia Fields Country Club in the Chicago area and was fortunate enough to receive the Evans Scholarship himself to Marquette University. He received his degree in Finance in 2004 and later earned his MBA from Loyola University Chicago.

"There is a rich history between the WSGA/PNGA and the WGA, dating all the way back to 1938 when the first Evans Scholarship was awarded in Pacific Northwest. Over 500 local Evans Scholarship graduates later, our organizations continue to find great satisfaction in helping change the lives of young caddies from modest means. The Evans Scholarship Program is primed for significant growth in the years ahead as formal Scholarship Houses are planned for both the University of Oregon and the University of Washington. I feel blessed to work alongside so many generous and committed individuals and look forward to seeing our hard work come to fruition - in each scholarship recipient, as well as ensuring the long-term strength of this great program!"

Bill recently got married and hopes to start a family in the near future (and looks forward to someday having the opportunity to play golf with his kids…as well as get them caddying)!
